Good benefits, bonuses/raises usually, upward mobility for those who strive to better themselves, tuition reimbursement after 1 year
Cons
Unprofessional management in department I am in - things are better elsewhere but it is hard to move departments if you don't hit the goals they set. Some people who do move on hit their goals by cutting corners and completing sub-standard work.
