Pros

Pay is competitive and OT is usually available. A lot of PTO is given. Work from home is very nice

Cons

Be ready to be treated like a professional baseball player. They have a stat line and if you fall below it, you have 60 days to fix it or you are fired. Also get ready to hear the phrase "One Offs,". Honestly the upper management is a complete joke and has no idea what they are doing. Performance metrics change quarterly and new metrics are just added out of the blue. They know what the averages are but constantly double or triple them and say these are the goals, and if you can’t hit all of the goals then you shouldn't work here. Liberty's main issue is no one at the top knows how to run a company this large. Liberty and Safeco were both small market carriers and when they merged, became a large market carrier. Then sales started selling more policies than they could handle and now Liberty is one of the largest insurance carriers in the U.S, with no one at the top knowing how to run a company this size. Every department under property claims is out of whack and management keeps trying to use band-aids to make fixes, but won’t admit they have no idea what to do. Management seems to believe when you deny a claim, that customer should be happy and give a positive survey results. Instead of fixing the issues customers have with the policy, lets blame the adjuster for not going the extra mile and making the sure the customer who lost everything in the flood and does not have coverage, is happy with your service and will give you a 10. If you are looking to be a field adjuster, inside adjuster, or catastrophe adjuster, may want to give Liberty 10 more years to figure it out before applying. Also if you are not hitting your metrics and are about to have surgery or have a child, be ready for a rushed through job performance warning, then try to enjoy the time off because you will probably lose your job when you returned.

Pros

Decent pay, way to start in insurance, decent training, nice facility with lots of parking.

Cons

Unbelievable workload that cannot be completed in an 8 hour period. However, it is expected to be done with no overtime allowed. Coworkers crying at their desk due to receiving a weeks worth of work in 1 day. Can crush all of your marks just to be met with well for this reason you only meets, so here is your 3%.
