Pros

- paid time off starts accruing the month you start working - 11 paid federal holidays and 4 personal days per year - 401k employer match starts immediately when you start working (some companies don't match until a certain time after your start date) - annual wellness incentives, although they decrease in amount every year - entire company is switching Agile after decades of using Waterfall - IT departments are stepping up their game to make it more exciting and appealing to work/stay there

Cons

- extremely traditional and old company set in their ways - many employees who have been there for decades, 25th anniversaries are common - some employees are extremely overworked, doing more than one person's job - career opportunities can be limited to certain tracks depending on manager/department - IT has tried too hard for too long to be exactly like tech companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Microsoft, but continues to keep trying to no avail - organizational restructuring occurs almost every year (some minor, some major), keeping employees on their toes on if they will have a job next month

Pros

There are no pros to working here. I just thought of one, you have a chance to work remotely so you don’t have to see your toxic, incompetent manager in person every day.

Cons

Toxic, hostile culture Favoritism to the extreme 50-60 hours a week work but get paid for 40 Being forced to give your manager a 9-10 on a survey when they don’t deserve it to avoid fear of retaliation Coworkers crying and having panic attacks on a daily basis Just everything
