Pros

- Interesting work that makes your days go by quickly - Great people to work with - team based work environment that is fun and supportive - Consistent opportunities to learn something new - you will not be coming in and doing the same thing day in and day out - Career advancement - similar growth structure to Big 4 accounting - expected to grow within the company and reach the next level within 1-3 years. - If your prior experience is with public accounting, work life balance is better. Still have to get the job done, but no mandatory increased hours or mandatory weekends. -Programs for soft skills development/leadership training -Company is rapidly growing - great new opportunities; ability to be a part of something as it evolves

Cons

- Unpredictable hours - since this is client service you don't always know well in advance when you might need to stay late. Quarter ends can be predicted to have slightly longer hours - Communication from the very top can be spotty/not fully transparent - which in a company that is constantly changing is understandable, but can also be frustrating - Not a con for me, but if you are looking for a clock in/clock out 8-5 kind of job, this is probably not the position for you -Company is rapidly growing - growing pains in all shapes and sizes

It was fantastic to hear the positive experiences you have had including the interesting work, the people you work with, the career advancement opportunities, the offered leadership development programs and the opportunity to be part of a growing company. We agree, that due to the nature of client service, busy season can be at times unpredictable and this can be an adjustment for many employees. We are in agreement that LeverPoint is certainly not a “clock in/clock out 8-5 kind of job” and a majority of our employees understand they are building their careers with LeverPoint in a unique, challenging and interesting industry. We appreciate the feedback that you provided with regard to greater transparency and more streamlined communication. Additionally, we appreciate your thoughts on a more automation and internal support, more direct monetary recognition during the busy times and more opportunities for internal transfers.
