Pros
Not a single thing here besides great pay potential.
Cons
Manager plays favorites, gives ALL lines to a select handful of mechanics. So pay is highly unequal. Manager also gives managerial power to an employee who is not classified as such. This employee’s role is no different than any other regular mechanic according to his contract house, yet he is allowed by management to act in a managerial capacity. The contract is 2k per plane, but this employee can some how decide if you have worked “enough” to earn your contracted amount. Further this employee also benefits from you not “earning your full rate” because they (and everybody else he seems “worthy”) get paid the difference. He will also set you up for failure on purpose, lie, scheme, and blame mistakes on you all the while not performing jobs to “industry standards”. He consistently talks down to employees in person as well as spread slander behind their backs. He makes the environment extremely toxic to work in and he should not be able to manage a crew that he also benefits monetarily from. That is a blaring conflict of interest.
