Pros

Mechanics, technicians, fellow office workers were amazing to work with and truly kept me going many days

Cons

Workload is extremely high. Managers hold you to a standard they do not hold themselves to. Email replies were expected within 24 hours, but managers could take a week or more to respond. Expected to maintain a 90% or higher at all times - mentality of pass or fail. Most folks work 50 or more hours each week, every week. Not unheard of for managers and sales executives to work 12 or more hours 5-6 days a week. Over the last year, there has been an increase of micromanagement. Everything you do is under a microscope, and one wrong move gets you on the bad side of the managers.

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
