Pros

Work/Life balance True hybrid work PTO/Vacation allowance. I had four weeks of vacation after making Sr. Associate

Cons

Politics and management will impact your career trajectory more than your work output. If you don't have a manager who has your back and vouches for you, promotions will be difficult to come by despite shattering expectations. Being internal doesn't matter when applying to roles within the company. Outsourcing critical positions has had a negative impact on the business overall despite saving money. There's no room for everyone due to the lack of real estate. The firm is stuck hot desking and reserving a seat doesn't matter as someone can take it. Maybe this changes when the new HQ on Park Avenue is finally finished.

Cons

I can be overly detail-oriented at times, but I’ve learned to balance quality with delivery timelines and business priorities.

Pros

I loved working at Chase in Home Equity and First Mortgage. Decent pay, decent managers that were supportive.

Cons

The business credit card department is an absolute nightmare - avoid! We got moved around due to housing market changes. Understandable but they also made it seem like it was going to be the best thing that could happen to us. Told us we wouldn’t be answering calls and then it was full blown call center. It was the literal worst. Most unorganized, unsupportive, dumpster fire of a department.
