Pros

Working at Intus Care offered the opportunity to engage with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, which was truly enriching. Additionally, the benefits provided by the company were excellent, contributing to a positive aspect of the overall experience.

Cons

These pros were overshadowed by the significant issues within the company…When I initially joined Intus Care, the company culture and dynamics seemed promising, but over time, significant issues became apparent. The onboarding process lacks structured training, and there’s no clear 30-60-90 day plan for new hires, leading to confusion and inefficiency. The environment is tense, with employees often feeling threatened by others vying for their positions, and the opportunities for growth are minimal. The high turnover rate within the ICS team is particularly concerning and seems to stem from leadership issues. The CPHO’s leadership style is problematic; she often undermines her team, restricts decision-making autonomy, and shows little interest in employee development. While she frequently touts her past as a “successful” CEO, she omits that she was terminated from that role. Her approach to leadership creates a toxic work environment that stifles growth and innovation. The Head of Business Development similarly oversteps boundaries, prioritizing self-promotion over collaboration. Despite my efforts to discuss potential growth opportunities and contribute to new projects, my initiatives were repeatedly overlooked. The focus within the ICS team has shifted primarily to clinical data analytics, with little regard for those outside of the RN/MD roles. In my role, I didn’t feel valued, appreciated, or respected within the company, despite clients expressing their satisfaction with my work during meetings and in emails. Unfortunately, even this positive feedback was dismissed by the CPHO, who showed little interest in recognizing or supporting the contributions of her team. The company’s decision-making process is opaque, with sudden layoffs of valuable employees without adequate explanation, only to be followed by new hires. This lack of loyalty and transparency contributes to a culture of insecurity and mistrust. Overall, Intus Care suffers from poor leadership, a lack of growth opportunities, and a culture that prioritizes self-interest over team success. Proceed with caution, particularly when working under certain individuals whose leadership styles are counterproductive and unsupportive.
