Phone Screen, Take-Home Coding Assessments
I got their so-called "challenges" for backend and frontend and based upon looking carefully at those, decided that they have no idea what they're doing.
The code was poorly formed without any realistic skeleton, the README instructions had glaring omissions, and they couldn't even be bothered to spell check their instructions. And there was a huge mismatch between frontend and backend challenge difficulty and time spent.
I decided to withdraw my application after I saw how little effort they put into the assessment for their technical screening of candidates. I've seen worse once, but I've mostly seen so much better - it's not worth the money to work with people that sloppy. If that's how they prepare for their prospective candidates, I think that's a good reflection of how much effort they will put in the actual job as well.
