Pros
As of this month (Sept. 2024), the entire c-suite has been replaced, which in my opinion, is a GREAT thing. The old c-suite was ineffective and made very poor decisions, did not take accountability or responsibility for their choices. I am hopeful that the new executive team will change the trajectory of our business model, making us profitable and improving the workload and confidence employees have in leadership. 401k matching up to 5% which is nice. Work-Life balance is great. Enjoy working from home and not having to commute to an office. The company is global so you will work with people all over the world in different time zones and people try their best to make meetings work for everyone.
Cons
The company has had much turmoil in the past 2-3 years. We had a major layoff of 60 employees (handful of which were very good, productive workers) in early 2024 which resulted in more work with no pay increases. Tons of pressure and unrealistic expectations for employees, a decrease in pay and career opportunities, tons of stress and worry about the future with little to no real communication or empathy. If you live in the USA, the healthcare package is poor. Very basic with almost nothing covered. No defined career paths or understanding of where you can move within the company. No training or encouragement from upper management. Departments are siloed. There is poor communication between departments. It doesn't feel like the same company when working with other teams. That could be because of poor management or how the former C-Suite ran things, hoping for a change in the near future.
