Pros

Office Space: The office is modern and well-designed.

Cons

Leadership Issues: The management team lacks direction and clear communication. Decisions are often made without consulting team members, leading to confusion and frustration. Limited Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement are scarce. Career development is not a priority, and there's little to no support for employees looking to grow their skills or progress in their careers. Poor Compensation: Salaries are not competitive for the industry. Benefits are minimal, and raises are infrequent and uninspired. High Turnover: There’s a noticeable high turnover rate, which affects team morale and productivity. The constant changes in staffing lead to a lack of stability and cohesion within teams. Overall, my time at Insider has been underwhelming. The company has potential, but significant improvements are needed in leadership, compensation, and employee support. I would advise considering other opportunities if you're looking for a more supportive and growth-oriented work environment.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Regarding your feedback for leadership, our Leaders are in charge of supervising the teams and setting up our culture, Insider Leadership is extremely important to us. We always invest in our leaders from a learning perspective because of this. Our Leaders and Senior Leaders train our leaders in all of our offices through a leadership university. Our leaders at this university receive ongoing training and reviews to help them lead their teams more effectively. These trainings include both providing and receiving feedback in teams. The aim of these programs is supporting our Leaders on managing their teams as it is not very easy for every person; there is always room to go. For limited career growth comment, we have structured career roadmaps for our team members in each department. By following these paths, a team member can develop himself/herself professionally and achieve a career. We also make sure our team members always have support from their leaders and their colleagues. Regarding the compensation, our salary process is very structured and transparent. This process is managed by team leaders and is based on market benchmarks and competitive analysis to ensure fair and competitive pay. At Insider, we have a hyper-growing culture. So, to have high performance is an important part of our culture and dynamic. This culture encourages employees to perform at their best. However, in the hyper-growing culture, we make sure our team members who cannot show their full potential always get generous support from their managers. However, when the performance of a team member does not fulfil the effort despite ongoing support, then we sadly have to part ways. We also utilise the various communication channels to gather feedback from our team members such as NPS, etc. We have an instant Feedback form where you can submit your feedback and ideas anytime you want which is being followed by our CEO. Also we have “Ask Me Anything” sessions that you can raise all your questions and get answers from the CEO as well. It will be great if you can also have a 1-1 meeting with your leader or contact your P&C Manager to voice any concerns or suggestions. Thanks again for reviewing Insider.

Pros

1. The product demos well and, on paper, includes many features enterprise brands are looking for across personalization, lifecycle marketing, and customer engagement. 2. There are hardworking people across sales, SDR, marketing, onboarding, and support who are trying to do good work and support customers despite a challenging environment.

Cons

1. Commission is not handled in a clear or reliable way. The commission plan is not clearly written and is not consistently followed. Salespeople who close business will spend significant time disputing compensation they earned. 2. There is a noticeable gap between what is positioned during the sales process and what product, onboarding, and support teams are able to consistently deliver. This creates tension internally and disappointment for customers after signature. 3. The US sales motion is difficult due to limited client references, product gaps, and pressure to over-position capabilities in order to win deals. 4. The culture normalizes burnout and employee frustration. One comment from the CRO and co-founder during an AMA stood out: “You should want to quit Insider at least once a quarter. Once you want to quit three times a quarter, we can look at the problem.”
