At IRIS, we understand that an employee’s experience at work is shaped by their manager, which is why we significantly invest in manager training and hold our managers to high standards. We’re proud to support our managers in their leadership skills through our dedicated leadership pathways. We offer 5 pathways, designed to support all levels of experience and seniority, from those aspiring to be managers all the way up to our senior leaders, to ensure every manager has the skills needed to motivate, develop and inspire their teams. Two of these pathways are also accredited with the Chartered Management Institute, which all of our sales leaders are expected to undertake. We’re delighted that on Peakon the vast majority of our managers score above the benchmark on employee engagement, and those not performing receive dedicated coaching, training and support to genuinely improve the engagement of their teams. We wholeheartedly encourage our employees to leave honest and constructive feedback for their manager so that they can understand how they're doing and be the best manager they can be to their team. We’re proud that via Peakon our employees score us 8.9 out of 10 on ‘Management Support’, which is above our True Benchmark and puts us in the top 25% of Technology companies.
We also encourage our employees to reach out to our Employee Voice Ambassadors who listen to the teams’ collective voices to be cascaded up to our senior leaders and executive team, thereby helping implement positive change and further improve engagement. For our salespeople, we also run focus groups in which they can share their thoughts and feedback for us to listen to and draw actions from it. For example, we changed our policies on breaks for our Sales Team based on their feedback, giving them flexibility in choosing their break time.
