Pros

Good benefits, tuition reimbursement, some areas offer flex schedules, three weeks of vacation time plus sick pay, on site fitness center

Cons

In order to advance, you really have to know people. You can be the most qualified person for the job, but if you don't personally know the interviewers, you can forget about it. Jobs are posted on the internal job boards even though others have already been offered the position. Why post the jobs if you already know who you want for the position? It's just a waste of time for those putting in for the jobs.
