Pros

- Great team ... Homie created an environment where employees made very close and long lasting friendships. - Commissions were good and the opportunity to make money was available.. - Always paid on time - The product improved consistently and processes were implemented in order to enable account managers to close more deals - The service really made a difference to renters as we were solving a real problem that exists for people renting in London. - Holidays were great that everyone truly enjoyed - Great place to use as a stepping stone and understand a start up environment the challenges that can be faced

Cons

- Market changes affected the business model, which made it difficult to generate revenue. Namely the tenant fee ban, Online estate agents and competitiveness of the market. - Management could be more experienced - lots of learning to be made. Probably their first venture - Career progression isn't great, most will be in their positions for approx one year and move on .

Pros

The mission - this company will do so much good for home buyers and sellers if they can make the business model work. It felt good to be working towards saving homeowners money.

Cons

Company is struggling overall and you feel it. The business model hasn't really worked or scaled the way they hoped it would in the early days, which put a damper on the "hypergrowth" vibes. Homie wants to be a tech company, but the compensation doesn't match the tech market because the company doesn't make software margins.
