      Pros

      Great opportunities for promotion. Great opportunities for additional training. Culture has gotten much more progressive since Blackstone took over.

      Cons

      Have to relocate for promotions if you want to move up in the organization, but that is really the same in all of the hospitality industry.

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
