Pros

As part time, and now full time you can build your own schedule. Which is awesome. There is opportunity to grow.

Cons

You are forced to work weekends, typically you can choice which weekends, but during peak season they force you to work - current example, they are forcing us to work 7-8 weekends in a row.

Pros

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

Cons

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
