Pros

Was a good place to work for (10 years ago)

Cons

1. Unpaid overtime. Workers can work over and have it as flexi time but only a limited amount of flexi can be carried forward (i.e. I worked 37 hours over my contracted hours last month, only 21 could be carried over thus 16 hours were unpaid) 2. Short staffed (and workers covering short staffing for fee - see point 1) 3. Over reliance on Agency workers 4. Huge backlog of work arrears 5. Low paid 6. No gratitude 7. Failing computer systems 8. Poor work life balacne 9. False promises from upper management 10. Seven year pay freeze. 11. Work has been devalued. Workers who are paid Span 2 worker are doing Span 3 work but only getting paid Span 2 wages and are not rewarded. 12. Bad atmosphere. 13. Worse is still to come, huge job cuts expected and work will be centralised. 14. Local courts are closing and staff expected to move within a 2 hour travelling time radius.

Pros

Flexible working hours and 30 days annual leave after ( years of service.

Cons

Toxic environment, poor management with no leadership skills. Controlling and micromanaging staff. Pay is shockingly bad. Offices fall apart with dirty carpets, broken printers, clutter everywhere and blocked toilets. Staff kitchens dirty run down with old appliances which often break or don’t work. Management unprofessional forgets public money pays for their incompetence.
