Pros
Benefits and pay seemed decent but they don’t actually care about employees.
Cons
I was hired for a partnered location and submitted and worked my two-week notice at my previous job, excited for this new opportunity. Everything initially seemed to be going smoothly, I received all of my equipment, completed my pre-employment drug test, and signed the offer letter. However, just two days before my scheduled training start date, I was informed that my start would be delayed by three weeks due to construction at the partnered location.
Trusting their word, I decided to wait, believing this was still a great opportunity. Unfortunately, just a week before my rescheduled start date, I was notified that my offer was being withdrawn entirely because their partner was unable to secure the location. As a result, I have now been unemployed for nearly a month, without benefits, and my professional reputation with my former employer has been negatively impacted.
The complete lack of consideration and empathy in this process is unacceptable. I hope this company does not continue to treat employees this way, as no one deserves to be left in such an unstable situation due to poor planning and miscommunication.
