Pros

- The majority of the people at the centre are really lovely. - The discount across the H&M Group brands is 25%, really useful for gifts, home decor, and obviously clothing. - Options for promotion and mobility within the centre. - Availability of company laptop, phone, etc. when working from home.

Cons

- Monitoring system means every minute is logged and checked in on, leaves little to no room for any trust or independant work. - Systems change constantly and employees are expected to log in early (unpaid) to ensure they are up to date with internal news site. - Team structure makes you feel accountable to everyone else in your department and if you have a bad week you are made to feel like you are letting the whole team down. Very little communication with anyone above team leader and little to no transparency about the actual structure of the company (ie. who is in charge between your manager and the CEO) - The feedback culture can be toxic, with people using it to pick apart each other or report each other in hopes of advancement. - The hours can be weird and customers are often disagreeable, but that's to be expected for this kind of role. - For the amount of time and dedication the company expects from you, it pays very little. - Very jargon-y and self-important corporate style; pushing sustainability and fair wages to profit off of customers who value those things - while still being a giant corporation with carbon heavy shipping and below minimum wage factory employees (but as factories are outsourced this does not affect their own fair wage stats) - Very surface level activism (make all of your backgrounds pride flags!) without any actual action, would honestly prefer they not say anything rather than profit off of marginalized groups without actually listening to them.

Pros

Benefits even for part-timers is a huge win! Sick leave, vacation, and community days. Nice management and really friendly coworkers. Decent employee discount. Diverse and welcoming environment.

Cons

Very stressful work environment considering the low pay. Poorly managed and operated. They clearly try to run lean and do as much work with as few people as possible. Very unprofessional overall and a lot of greenwashing.
