Pros
Discount at a push is the only Pro but still not worth it
Cons
Don’t ever work here if you want to keep your sanity. Most people are stuck up and awful especially 95% of management who speak down to you, they’re lazy and have ridiculous expectations and expect visuals and sales advisors to do all their jobs whilst they sit in the office most likely spending the petty cash on coffee and treats for themselves. You don’t get paid for overtime but are expected to do a lot of overtime and made to feel guilty if you don’t want to work past the end of your shift. As a visual we basically did all job roles; visual, floor manager, sales assistant, admin, which overall is a joke, plus you have no social life and although you’re meant to know your shifts 4 weeks in advance, management will change shifts up until the day before, not tell you or ask you about changes then try to blame you for being late or not turning up, also if you have any plans then don’t bother, cancel them all as managment will expect you to drop everything to come into work anyway. If you want progression then get ready to get your nose brown and be as fake as possible otherwise you’ll be pushed out and accused of things you did not do just as a reason to get you out of the company and hire one of their friends instead. We had to deal with a few store managers who were bully’s and in atleast 2 weeks we had 7 members of staff leave or walk out yet nothing was done and he was moved to a bigger store just because he was friends with high up people. The values they say they live by overall mean nothing to anyone especially managers because majority are vile anyway but will use all the ‘values’ against you as another reason to demote you. Don’t even get me started on the country manager who I have seen put new staff down and also stop people progressing due to him not liking what they were wearing despite the company values say to express yourself and your own style. Overall don’t work here, rather move to the Middle East 👍🏻
