Not pay for your notice period - Financial Analyst Gucci Employee Review

I resigned my job from Gucci because I got another better offer. I gave the department two week notices and I was told by HR that they wanted me to leave right way. HR told me that I will get paid for two weeks notice period required by the Law. But hey, guess what, I DID NOT GET PAID FOR A SINGLE DAY OF THE WAIVED NOTICE PERIOD.
