Pros

Consistent* customer base right away

Cons

If you’re full time fully flexible, that means you get to listen to everyone else complain about making less money, even though you’re the only one there when it’s busy, or for opening to closing, or on weekends. You make money because you live there and cover for everyone else. Your time isn’t respected if you have a life outside of work. And to top it off the customers don’t like to treat you like a human even if you do a great job.

Pros

Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

Cons

Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.
