Pros
The culture- I've never been surrounded by such like minded and servant individuals who strive to make each other better each day. You also get the privilege of meeting the executives and directors of the company on a weekly basis so that they can get to know you. At Goosehead you're not just a number to the company, you're an asset and treated like one. Unbelievable work experience- as an intern, you are given the task to improve a real time business process that will directly effect the company at the time of departure. This was hands down one of the biggest takeaways from the internship, you do not get an opportunity like this with anyone else. Aside from working towards groundbreaking improvements you are able to grow as a sales professional as well. You are held to the same standard as any other full time Account Executive and expected to deliver just as they do. Compensation- Goosehead pays EXTREMELY well for an internship position. As an intern you are also eligible to any bonuses the company initiates in your duration of the position. Growth- Goosehead is completely re-inventing the insurance industry and is moving at a rapid pace that is making them more successful than ever. With success comes growth and with growth comes opportunities. The path to leadership at Goosehead is something that was a big attraction to me. The company is constantly grooming leadership roles and everyone has a shot at becoming a leader.
