Pros

Fun and interesting work. Non-technical. Great place to build your professional network. Access to best-in-class research and analysis.

Cons

This review is specific to Evanta. One of Gartner's companies based out of Portland, OR. Leadership mostly absent and invisible. Shut themselves away in their offices with very little to no interaction with the staff. Managers promoted due to tenure not due to expertise in the function. Peter's Principle to the max and favoritism accepted and flaunted throughout. Qualified people muzzled and pushed out. Myopic focus on revenue. Closed minded and little regard for standardized business practices. Awful internal, home grown, systems. No single qualified single source of truth for critical business information. Very little care or consideration for the staff. Underpaid staff and refused to correct it, as required by law, within 3 business days.

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
