Pros
Pay is good, but only if you are a top performer and have a good manager. Unfortunately, the only way to be considered a top performer is to pick up the slack of underperforming peers and work long hours. If you do your job , even at a high level don’t expect fair compensation.
Cons
Culture, be prepared to be a prisoner to your laptop. Between meetings and extra responsibilities being delegated to you from above, you will struggle to find time to step away from your computer for a few minutes. Forget about a lunch break, unless you are cool with working extra hours or falling behind. No job security, everyday you will wonder who’s getting laid off next. It’s an absolutely awful place to work, no longer a promote from within culture. Loyalty no longer valued. High performers with decades of experience are being laid left and right. Newly hired associates are being laid off as well, no one is safe
