Pros

GE, the brand which will helps your next job. not bad benefit, especially medical and dental insurance with low premium. good life/work balance with compressed working schedule. good training.

Cons

too much political. the management didn't care about employee career development at all. the only thing they care about is their managers. they functions like their manager's shade, follow them everywhere. sad thing about GE Energy for experienced technical professional, if GE is not your first employer, you are probably not inluded in the loop. manager wants junior engineer to lead project which the senior engineer only functions like a consultant. poor vacation weeks, even you are very experienced, your vacation starts from two weeks.

Pros

My first job after college and my internship was a great experience. I learned a lot about medical devices and the medical device industry, and I even got promoted to site leader pretty quickly.

Cons

My training was nonexistent; I learned everything from medical device service manuals. In my region, a billion-dollar company offered no bonuses or decent pay, and the management was micromanaging and horrible.
