Pros

- women-led - great pay - you're experience is based on who your manager is so you better hope you have a good manager.

Cons

- absolutely no work-life balance - they'll have you on 5 different accounts to work just to keep you 150% billable regardless of what you want to work on - overrun with micromanagers - all accounts are staffed top-heavy forcing junior staff to be spread thin - people will be emailing you at 10pm - company culture is based on how hard you work so burn out is quick - people don't last long here so everything is always understaffed - no guidance, mentorship, or accountability from managers - approval of PTO is prioritized for people who have kids, otherwise you'll have trouble getting time off

GCI Health Response

Thank you for being so open and honest about your experience – we value your feedback tremendously. We encourage you to speak with your manager, or another senior leader at GCIH if you’re more comfortable, to discuss how we can work to improve your work life/balance and even your account split. We are proud of our efforts to support work/life balance (extra days off, encouraging the use of wellness days, refining our ways of working based on team feedback, wellness stipends, etc.) and believe that’s part of why our turnover rate is so low. We continue to evolve as an agency and are steadfast in our commitment to helping our people succeed as a part of our team, both personally and professionally.
