Pros

It's nice to work from home in your pj's, no commute time, gas, dry cleaning, eating out. The job itself is fairly easy & we are empowered to making things right without having to ask for permission.

Cons

I get "cabin fever", the pay is low, not a lot of work/life balance. You don't get paid for things that's aren't even your fault like system issues. You rely on chat rooms for help when you need it, but most of the time you just have to do your best & make a judgement call. Sometimes you're right & sometimes you get coached.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
