Pros

Since there are so many things against u in this company work wise, the only thing that stands by you are the people that you work with. Also since the top n middle management team are busy "delegating" their work to people under them all the time, there is a lot of exposure towards acquiring new skills. I would say its a good organization to start your career as here you will learn a lot of tricks of the trade to get your work done somehow.

Cons

Well to start off, they are one of the worst payers. Their annual compensation is the least when compared to their competitors. And to add insult to injury, there is no true values and work etiquette. Work pressure is immense work pressure. The company does not value their peoples lives and expect you to slog endlessly for their own benefits (which is the case with other companies as well, but the worst thing about Sitel is that they will make you know it as well).

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
