Pros
Well known company with good pay and benefits. Lots of room for advancement and good exit opportunities. Interesting work if you like doing industry research.
Cons
Since the financial crisis, rating agencies can be looked down upon in financial circles. While the pay is good, it is less than what you would see at investment banks.
