Pros
In my 10+ years of experience working at other jobs, I've never encountered a CEO who cares more than the one at First Day. And the best part? the same can be said about every individual within the team. The culture isn't just a set of core values plastered on a wall. Everyone genuinely has an inherent desire to learn, grow, and push each other. Sometimes, this can come with pretty high expectations. Like being scrappy with a limited amount of resources for a specific project. Or learning new ways to be a guardian to other functions of the business within your role. But those expectations? They also come with constant alignment, respect, transparency, and coaching. Things I can't imagine working without anymore.
Cons
Growing rapidly :) You have to be willing to embrace some of the pivots that are naturally a part of that. While it can be uncomfortable at first, lemme tell you: the personal and professional growth that come with it? It's so damn rewarding. I know because I've experienced it. But y'know what's even more satisfying? Witnessing that same growth in realtime for everyone else.
