Pros

- Ferrero is continuing to grow and there are many opportunities for advancement along with personal & career development trainings. - It is still a family owned company and the Ferrero family continues to be thoughtful with their business decisions. - Salary is competitive - Startup environment which allows employees to enhance or create processes - Exposure to global teams - Great brands & there is always product available for employees at the office

Cons

- The benefits & company perks that promote a positive company culture could be improved (For example: adding Summer Fridays, closing the office between Christmas and New Year, adding a company store for employees with discounts on Ferrero products, providing child care assistance or costs reimbursements, 529 college savings plan and more) - The hours that an employee needs to put in to be successful can be quite long at different times of the year and teams are lean - Organized chaos from time to time

Pros

They give you lots of candy for free

Cons

This company refuses to train new employees. They will expect you to come to work and beg people to train you who will shut you down and say they are too busy. They had multiple employees go on 5 week vacations in the three months I was there which made it even harder to train but again they expect you to read minds. This company looks for a scapegoat at every chance they get and they will try to make you look bad despite not training you on anything. I would never recommend this company. The manager will give you zero assistance with training and doesn't even bother to check-in with you. There are so many better jobs in Chicago where they actually care about you.
