      Pros

      The usual benefits that most mid-size companies offer. Nothing special.

      Cons

      Toxic startup hustle-culture wrapped in big-megacorp bureaucracy and politics. Forced into office just to sit on zoom meetings and talk on slack. Management dump responsibility on engineers without giving the tools or authority to do anything about it. Everything is broken or on fire, they fire entire teams and pretend nothing happened.

      If you are fortunate enough to be hired under a strong, mature, professional, and caring manager, you can survive. A great boss can provide you with the necessary air cover and guidance through the quagmire that is the Fastly environment.
