Pros

1) It's a franchise, so you have the opportunity to work directly with owners. This benefitted me greatly as I was still completing college when I applied. I interviewed with with some "corporate" figures like the District Manager, but also interviewed with the franchise owner. The owner wasn't concerned so much with experience and education, she cared more about your attitude. Because of this I was able to land a mid-level position without my incomplete education holding me back. 2) Feels good to help people find work. I worked as a temporary associate for Express in the past, so it felt nice to be on the other side and help others who were in the same situation I'd been in before. 3) Pretty great benefits. Low-cost, decent Health/Dental/Vision. I paid $22 a month for all three. 3 weeks PTO and holiday pay. 4) If you seek out and bring in new clients on your own, you get 8% commission as long as you work for the company. 5) Good opportunities for training and advancement.

Cons

1) Most positions pay well below the local industry average. 2) It's salaried, so no OT pay even though there's frequent OT. 3) Being a franchise means the atmosphere and dynamics of each office vary by owner. If you're unlucky to work with a toxic owner, there isn't much recourse as they have more freedom to do as they please than a corporate manager. 4) High turnover of internal employees.

Pros

I have a hard time saying anything good about this place. If I had to say something, there was room to grow into different positions.

Cons

Small office space Toxic workplace Gossiping constantly about one another When I was given something to do with socials, I was told Im not doing enough for recruiting. Would switch to solely focus on recruiting and then told Im not doing enough for socials. I was always put in a lose lose situation with what was expected of me in my job. I was threatened over a parking space. When I tried talking to management I was dismissed. Unprofessionalism, coworkers would openly talk bad about candidates. With a small office space everyone can hear including people who came into interview. Highly disorganized I could go on and on...
