Pros
Very informative and international with opportunities to learn a lot about the inner workings of the EU and meet people from all over.
Cons
Be prepared for long hours, and although I was not based in the Brussels HQ, I heard from colleagues they have very few holiday days a year compared to the European norm. Also very bureaucratic, lots of paperwork for everything!
