Easy going, fun team to work with. Easy going leadership that acknowledges your accomplishments and not just your faults. Company regularly gets us lunch as a gesture of appreciation for our work. Weekly pay. Blue cross blue shield ppo insurance. - every company takes them!!! Great insurance. This is a company that will work with you and is empathetic of employees wholenlife circumstances. If you're interested in another position, the company will allow you to step up and train for it. Overtime pay kicks in DAILY after 8 hours worked in the day. You do not have to work the 40hours before you see oT money on your check here! Management takes every employee out, from entry level to top level, when joining the team, to a restaurant of the employees choosing! A way to welcome them in. Really feels like the first company to ACTUALLY operate like they care about their people and not just profit. Leadership treats EVERYONE like people. Not robots, not slaves, not beneath them. They treat you good. They're kind. It's not even super formal , the interactions. Emerson is well ran. I value the kindness extended. It's unbelievably rare to have the big office guys Choose kindness with everyone vs power flexes and arrogant energy.
Cons
The fsa company we have isn't the best. We have to save itemized receipts to submit with just about every swipe of the card. Don't have the receipt once and the card is locked. I also don't prefer the 401k company used. Only because the customer service of the company is horrible and barely speaks English. As far as cons directly related to Emerson, umm, I can't really say I have any real complaints. I mean I'd love not to work weekends. But even that, it's not every weekend. We're ON CALL one weekend a month and might not even get called for that lol. Overall, it's a good company. I enjoy working with my coworkers. I feel I've been given the tools to be gr8 at my job. My team and management seem to care. It's a successful company and from what I can see, they deserve to be.
