Pros
the team is filled with cool people
Cons
This is a scam do not work here. This position was advertised as a marketing manager role paying in the 55k range I had a zoom interview that lasted a total of 5 minutes, the interviewer seemed to be in a rush saying that she had 1200 applicants to interview in one day she told me i applied for their account executive position (red flag it was advertised Marketing Manager). I was brought in for a second interview. The woman interviewing me basically told me her business model which is a multi level marketing scheme.(red flag) she explained to me how its a training program and its up to me to move from the bottom to the top through team mate training. She told me the field she studied which was not a business field and how it didnt matter anyone with any background can learn how to sell. (red flag) She said i was starting as a sales rep(red flag) She also told me about getting up to a 6 figure salary in a year. Everything sounded too good to be true. The rest of the interview made it sound very enticing. My final question for the interviewer was "What part of my resume made you pick me as a candidate?" she responded and said I didn't look at it I just liked your personality over zoom.... I have a masters in marketing another in HR and a general accounting degree ( which was kind of a big red flag most people hire with resumes). I drank the coolaide.... my first day was a half day of filling out paper work. the next day I was working with the team. We had our team meeting before going out to meet clients at show cases. dressed to the nines in business professional attire some one hands me a collard t shirt and the president begins to explain how we go to a super store location work from 12-8 mon- sat and sell cable to shoppers making $9/hr. If you could only imagine my face in disbelief. I'm not a quitter with out trying it once so i went out to a store. the girl i was training with fed me the exact same speech that I got during the interview almost word for word. Everyone drank the cooliade and believed this was a marketing job. RUN
