I applied online. I interviewed at Elevation Academy
Interview
While COVID has changed the interview process, I was put on a video all with another applicant and an employee. It was incredibly strange. We at and listened to the pitch about the company. How there are SO many applicants so they will narrow their search by a questionnaire after the video cal (lasted 3 minutes, we said nothing).
I did the questionnaire and (to my not surprise) out of all the hundreds of applicants they chose me as the top 20 to do a 1-on-1 with....really?
They then call and tell me its a management training program, but the Marketing and Event Coordinator is the starting position... what.
Run. It's not for real, sorry guys!
Due to high volume of applicant that's why the first interview is done in a group setting over zoom. The purpose of the second round interview is to get a more in depth view on the company as well as the candidate. As we can all agree it would chaotic having multiple individuals speaking over each other on zoom. If you have any other concerns feel free to reach out.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Elevation Academy (North Charleston, SC) in Aug 2020
Interview
Fast, they kept telling me they had 1200 applicants, but didn't I feel lucky to be a part of the 12 selected for a second interview?
This job is a SCAM pyramid scheme, I won't go in to details, but my experience was the exact same as the other poster and she put it SO WELL. I was told the same thing, I'm being judged on my ability to ask questions, but when I asked questions, I got met with anger. I questioned why the job I'm being presented (yup a powerpoint presentation teaching me about what marketing is!)was an "Executive Training Program", very different than the project manager job I applied to. She said well we accept people of all backgrounds. Huh? And I said well I'm looking for a project manager position. She responded with, are you looking to be small minded and stay in your comfort zone and only work on small projects (umm project mgmt is a very complex, skilled, high paying job) or do you want to achieve your goals?!
Also, the salary starts at $300 a week! Run guys!
It was insane!

Question 1
Are you small minded or do you actually want to achieve your goals?
I apologize that your experience wasn't up to your expectations. A presentation is used due to current circumstances to follow state regulations of social distancing. The executive training program explains what the day to day looks like as well as the growth opportunity. Salary is different per person which is discussed one on one. If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to contact me directly.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Elevation Academy (Charleston, SC) in Mar 2020
Interview
The process was 2 parts, first was a brief overview of the role and and quick q &a. Interviewer was very personable and great energy. I would've like more time in the first round but she said there was a lot of applicants due to current unemployment rate. The 2nd round was longer and more detailed and had a chance to ask more questions, but everything seemed transparent. I was really attracted to the energy of the people who works there.
