Pros

They train you well for the job, their platform is user friendly and works well. They find many students with whom you can work.

Cons

When they failed to pay me one week, I could not find any concrete information; they lied to me about the situation and gave me the run around. Definitely not to be trusted.

Pros

The work is very flexible. You get to work from home, and you can choose your hours. I only took on at most five students a week, and I could give specific times of day that I was available to be scheduled (that I could later change!). You can take on much more than that, of course--I was only part-time. The management is also very responsive and amicable. If you need to call in sick, you won't be paid for the time you miss, but you're otherwise not penalized. I have a chronic illness, and they were very understanding about it.

Cons

Doesn't pay well--if you're in the United States, your state's minimum wage won't apply. They have a flat rate of 11 dollars/hour, at least for me. Their platform is also incredibly buggy, obtuse, and overall just outdated, technology-wise. Furthermore, if you don't ask for a holiday off, you're going to be scheduled and working that day. You HAVE to use some of your allotted two weeks off to celebrate holidays. And as a final point, if you give an age range for who you can work with, and you include younger ages, you will eventually be given mostly kids, and it more or less become a babysitting job as opposed to actually tutoring them.
