Pros

An excellent employer with great opportunities to progress, try new things, and nurture and enhance creativity. EdComs really cares about it's facilitators and the level of trust and care they put in, and show (respectively) is second to none. There is always support on hand if needed - and a supportive environment and ethos exists and is encouraged. Colleagues have a really kind and caring nature to them, and this ethos is reflected throughout all teams and employees. I'd recommend working here in a heartbeat!

Cons

Sometimes there may be long drives between locations - but these are few and far between and hotel stops on route are always offered to break longer journeys. No other downsides at all!

Pros

Challenging, fast-paced agency environment - no two days are the same! Fantastic development opportunities. Promoted twice in five years and accessed countless free training opportunities to support my progression. The diversity of the people make the agency. So many backgrounds but all share a passion for making a difference in education. It's not a hierarchal structure. You have a fair amount of autonomy to manage accounts and actively encouraged to make suggestions/bring improvements to the business. I was fully supported during my dad's terminal illness by senior management, my amazing team and even my clients. Was given the time to grieve and never felt under any pressure to return to work which is quite rare in agency life. Free breakfasts, unlimited coffee, summer parties, Christmas parties, private healthcare and your birthday day off are an added bonus.

Cons

Not the place for people that aren’t passionate about education and are afraid of working hard.

Bullying and burnout. There is no HR so when these two instances occurred back to back in the space of 18 months, I was entirely unsupported. Despite escalations and incidents of bullying being witnessed by colleagues several times, nothing was done which severely impacted by well -being until the individual left. I was then overloaded with work - trying to service and manage 11-15 clients at one time for 6-8 months with no permanent support given to me. A temp was brought in for a couple of weeks intermittently to support which was counter-productive. This resulted in burning out and getting medically signed off work for two weeks.
