Serious management issues

Pros

There are some nice people.

Cons

Some truly terrible people, who are sadly in charge. Major lack of HR. In fact, there is *no* HR at all... No development structure (promotions based on being friends with senior management, not skill or work ethic). People doing the same job paid vastly different sums; there is no pay structures in place. Lazy/unprofessional staff who have been there a long time are not held to account, and are allowed to coast without really contributing. The issues they cause are passed on to hard working, dedicated people - who are frequently overlooked.

Pros

There are some interesting clients and projects

Cons

Bullying and burnout. There is no HR so when these two instances occurred back to back in the space of 18 months, I was entirely unsupported. Despite escalations and incidents of bullying being witnessed by colleagues several times, nothing was done which severely impacted by well -being until the individual left. I was then overloaded with work - trying to service and manage 11-15 clients at one time for 6-8 months with no permanent support given to me. A temp was brought in for a couple of weeks intermittently to support which was counter-productive. This resulted in burning out and getting medically signed off work for two weeks.
