Pros
The starting salary is good, but still low for the industry. Growth pathways. The people you work with truly are so diverse and they do provide equal opportunities to all different types of people making for a very inclusive workplace. Do encourage work/life balance.
Cons
Management opportunities are a popularity contest. Unrealistic KPIs. Huge workload because its minimum 50 claims per case manager + the phones ringing off the hook + most of the calls aren't even for your claims. Training program doesn't actually cover everything because your 'buddy' is supposed to take on that responsibility as well, so too bad if you've got a bad 'buddy' like I did. They say they care and want empaths to come and do the job but please don't forget it is still an or if their life has been completely ruined, if it messes with their statistics then you're encouraged to find ways to cut off or cut down their benefits.
