Pros

The vast majority of employees are a joy to work with. The benefits are great, the work-life balance is good, and there is a good degree of autonomy and trust in getting on with your job. In addition, the parent company, E.On, is a large multi-national company with many opportunities to work with folks in other units and other countries.

Cons

Management is the problem in this company. There is no "vision", at least not one that has been clearly articulated to the staff. The effect of this is: 1. Lack of focus 2. Inability to make difficult decisions 3. Inability to complete the steps needed for those few decisions that are made 4. Paralysis by analysis 5. An, at times, nonsensical focus on the type of activities the company should (a matter of opinion) be doing and not on what activities the company NEEDs to be doing, especially when the needs are clear and demonstrable.

Pros

Nice colleagues, fast paced environment. Industry can be quite challenging, complex I'd say.

Cons

Due to market liberalization there are a lot of changes to cope with. The company is navigating through changes and transformation so you have to keep up with them (changes)
