Deltek produces chronically poor leadership. It's very effective at capping potential, so the best employees and leaders leave the company. It leaves a baseline of OK performers who sustain the company.
There is little interest in innovating or making the products perform better. As a result none of the Deltek products are world class and are one disrupter away from irrelevance.
Heavy bureaucracy that stifles productivity and produces of a culture of people doing the minimums daily.
