Dataminr has a serious issue with pay, career progression, and career pathing. Those things only occur when an employee is a "favorite child" or has stuck around the company long enough to watch your boss leave the company. It's a well documented issue amongst leadership and broader employee base, but nothing has been done to address it beyond empty platitudes. I've seen about a dozen people in my 40-person department turnover due to finding higher-paying jobs that offer actual development.
It just feels like the CEO has decided to mask mediocre compensation for Managers and below as "industry standard", leaving Directors to deal with constant complaints from their employees.
