Pros

For the most part coworkers are friendly and look out for each other. Benefits are okay, there are some perks (but less since the start of the 2020 pandemic).

Cons

The company has been on a path of consistently putting a priority on profit & growth which is incredibly disappointing for a company that boasts proudly about adhering to their "Golden Rules". This started back in 2019 after the company acquired new investors. What started as a company based on communities, the focus is now on obtaining customers that are big businesses/spenders. New tech & processes are rolled out without proper testing, leading to problems with everyone's workflow, and sometimes poor customer experiences. Metrics rule everything and people are constantly pushed for higher productivity at the expense of quality of that work. The phrase "we are working on it" comes up a lot and it quickly becomes clear that they are not. A decent health care plan with Cigna was replaced by an absolutely horrid one by Right Way/ Web TPA. If you want to progress in the company you have to work yourself to death, act like a perpetually happy camp-councilor, and drink up the kool-aid. Over the last 5 years Custom Ink has shown to prioritize the growth and profit for the people at the top of the pyramid while front line workers have had benefits & quality of life eroded. If the company continues to ignore the problems it's employees bring up then it won't be around to be the 1Billion Dollar Company it so very, very desperately wants to be.

Pros

Good benefits and diversity initiative at the time.

Cons

The company lied about what the job was. A "community building local representative" for their brick and mortar stores ended up just being a cold calling job and taking incoming calls for other stores. No room to move up. The management was the worst I ever worked for. Weird rules where they signed the lease, including someone having to stay in the store in inclement dangerous weather. Most of the "old school" employees I came into contact with drank the Kool Aid in a weird way that left no room for criticism. I left in 2022 and have been watching the rating here fall for all the years since. Could have been a great company but I wouldn't ever give them my energy now, as an employee or customer.
