Pros
Its a job that pays well. The benefits are amazing. Great work life ballance
Cons
After almost six years, I was laid off due to AI changes. Eight months later, the same role is open again—but it’s no longer what it used to be. What was once a logistics/engineering job is now mostly data entry: copying information between tickets, emails, vendors, and procurement systems, plus meetings to discuss that work. There’s little opportunity for growth, and the role has become a dead end. It was a place for inovation but now its plaged with professional fence sitters. It was once a place that encouraged innovation, but the culture has shifted toward excessive caution. Decision-making often gets delayed, and conversations frequently end with “let’s take this offline,” which can slow progress and limit momentum. If you ask for career growth, they will tell you they will "look into it" but in my 6 years there not a single clear path.
