Pros

The company is NIKE owned so the benefits and resources available almost seem endless and truly put people firsft. Its also a company where they want to grow and again the people in the Boston office really do want the stores to do well. The work life balance can be great if you set yourself up with that from the start because they do not encourage taking your work home with you from a store level. Additionally the company values are respectable and it was a growing place to work

Cons

Converse although it will continue to see growth in the industry you will not see growth from in store positions. The company much like other retailers started off small business minded and wanting to give the world to each employee but as new HQ operations savvy leaders from competitive brands move in they cut the same corners here as they do at other retailers. This makes internal growth difficult or non-existent, also the roll out to the team is always reactionary vs being a well written plan. Although the environment once was a very open conversation from store to HQ that practice didn't hold true forever.
