Pros
I have never worked with a team who care so much about every detail. The crew are very loyal and dedicated, there is a lot to learn and there is a great emphasis on up-skilling and training crew. No shift is the same - you work at all kinds of venues - our experienced crew still see something new every time. They are a social enterprise, driven by the desire to get homeless people off the street and into employment. Look at their Academy on the website.
Cons
It does require a great deal of flexibility - it's the nature of the events business - which can be both exciting and frustrating. The Operations team are constantly responding to last minute requests and adjustments from clients and so this would not suit someone who likes regular hours.
