Cons
There are NO leads. You are just cold calling all day. The “ leads “ they say they have are customers who just signed up for service a few months ago and they want you to upsell them. 85 calls a day. Most are voicemails. The ones you do talk to are front desk receptionists or they’ve been called 3 times this week by one of the many colleagues. You just call the same customers over and over again. They block your number. I’ve been in telecom for a decade. This is the most basic entry level job ever. Truly cold calling. And it’s people who have just started service. Literally months ago. Oh wait, they do promise you better “ leads “ after 6 months. Just be prepared to live off of hourly until then. The reps they tell you about during training making 150k plus have been with the company forever. Any new hire I have spoken to makes 300$ in commission before taxes. I’m on a team of 10. 8 haven’t been here for 6 months yet. The turnover is crazy.
